....And that's all she wrote. I didn't QUITE meet my intended goal of 28 pages, but I think 26 pages is quite alright, considering I didn't want to have to pad the script just to hit 28. That, and most actual mangas have varying chapter lengths, so I suppose it's best to not underestimate the element of surprise.
Any passersbys of this blog, feel free to leave commentary. I'm interested to hear peoples' thoughts.

ReplyDeleteYou have lots of material in this first installment, and could quite easily have gone over your target number of pages :)
I am not familiar with any of these characters, so the story will be pretty interest to read from my point of view. The dialogue feels very natural, and the flow is easy to follow.
ReplyDeleteThe sprites themselves are quite good, and the use of differently colored back-grounds keeps them distinct. I've seen this problem several times in other sprite comics, so great job for avoiding it in the first chapter!
