The Official Teaser!

Here is the official teaser for Maid of Win, entitled "Aikawa's Magic Candy" (Prunus Girl readers may get the reference). If you're a pack rat and enjoy saving every little thing you come across, here's the entire teaser in one convenient link. For those who don't trust those sorts of things, here's the teaser in "pictures posted in a blog post" format. Note: the comic is read manga-style, meaning right to left. The teaser mainly focuses on Hirotaka, Kizuna, and Hideyoshi.




Also, Kizuna is referred to by her last name in the teaser. I actually thought for the longest time that Aikawa was her first name (doesn't help matters that most fans refer to her as Aikawa). This is further complicated by the fact that several charts that contain a collection of anime/manga/game trap characters typically have a character's first name first, despite Japanese names traditionally being written with the family name first. In the actual chapters, that will be corrected and she will be addressed as Kizuna, but I decided to leave it be for the teaser.

Note: yandere and/or yangire freak outs will not be a common occurence in Maid of Win.

...And that's it. I plan on the actual chapters being about twice as long as the teaser, to allow for focus on more than just a few characters. The white space next to the page numbers will likely be used for author's notes, such as the definitions of certain obscure words (which I'll likely end up archiving into a single post for easy reference). You may notice that the pages are formatted to resemble an actual manga in terms of size...well, that was intentional. Actual chapters will also likely feature an actual cover page to gawk at for all of 2 seconds.
